Invincible Fight Girl Steps Into The Ring This November

As the brand had grown, the type of shows aired by Adult Swim have become more varied and diverse. From My Adventures With Superman to Rick and Morty or Blade Runner: Black Lotus to Uzamaki, the days of cheap and cheerful Adult Swim shows seems long gone. The next Adults Swim Original to come to the airwaves and streaming is the eargerly awaited- and brilliantly titled- Invincible Fight Girl.

The action-comedy series follows a young girl who dreams of becoming the greatest professional wrestler of all time. The series will premiere on Saturday November 2, 2024 at midnight as part of the Toonami action block.

The series is set in Wrestling World, where wrestling is much more than a sport- It's a way of life. The series follows Andy, who is determined to become the world's greatest pro-wrestler. Adopting the moniker Fight Girl, Andy sets off into the bright and colourful Wrestling World, determined to make a name for herself.  The series comes from Executive Producer Juston Gordon-Montgomery (named in Variety’s 2022 list of “10 Animators to Watch”) and Cartoon Network Studios.

“As Adult Swim has expanded, so have the sorts of titles we can offer audiences. ‘Invincible Fight Girl’ is an outstanding example of that – it blends engaging storytelling with just incredible animation and direction,” said Adult Swim president Michael Ouweleen. “This series is a testament to Juston’s creativity and talent, with a series that’s funny and thrilling, and also super inspiring.”

Joining Andy on her quest for wrestling super-stardom is cynical retired champ Aunt P,  the endearingly innocent wrestling analyst in the making Mikey and the unscrupulous Craig, who is always trying to make a quick buck from wrestling. United in the goal of helping Andy reach her dreams, this 'found family' embarks on a journey full of self-discovery, adventure and adversity. Along the way they chase their dreams, push past their limits and deliver smackdowns on the toughest wrestlers they can find.

Sam Register serves as Executive Producer. Bryan Newton is Supervising Producer.

Invincible Fight Girl will debut with two back-to-back episodes. One new episode will follow every Saurday. The episodes will also stream on Max on Sundays. A release date for the UK has yet to be announced, but we'd anticipate it showing up on the Adult Swim channel on Channel 4 sooner rather than later.
