All The Animated Netflix News From Geeked Week

 There seems to be a constant stream of news from Netflix. It's a wonder they have any news left for special events like Geeked Week. This year's Geeked Week recently concluded, and saw the first time it was an in-person event. Geeked Week is the celebration of Netflix's upcoming genre content. And that includes a not insignificant amount of animation.

It was revealed that the second and final chapter of Arcane will kick off when Act 1 drops on November 9th, Act 2 drops on November 16th and Act 3 drops on November 23rd.  A new clip/ trailer has been revealed, giving a taster of the second season.

Devil May Cry. The second adaptation of the Capcom video game, this time in association with Netflix and Studio Mir, featuring demon hunter Dante. 

Magic: The Gathering, Netflix's event animated series based on the hugely popular collectable card game is now in production. The show has a new creative direction with show-runner Terry Matalas in partnership with Hasbro Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast.

Sakamoto Days, the highly anticipated adaptation from the studio that brought you Akira and Baki Hanma is coming to Netflix in January. 

 

Get your first look at Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Deathwatch The animated series from Ubisoft Films and Television features Liev Schreiber appears as the voice of special agent Sam Fisher.

 

 A much more iconic video game character stars in Tomb Raider: The Legend Of Lara Croft. From Legendary Television and Powerhouse Animation, the series is set after the events of the recent survivor trilogy. The series streams from October 10.

 

 Netflix have also confirmed that they are re-teaming with CD Project Red to produce a second Cyberpunk series.
