Capybara

Mr Weebl is back, doing what he does best. A catchy ditty, with the subject being one of nature's most curious critters- in this case the giant rodent the capabara. What sets this apart is the music- which features ska with a drum n' bass twist, and flashier cgi animation. We've come a long way from Badgers.

The Ultimate ' Inside Out' Recap Cartoon

Released just in time for Inside Out 2, comes this recap cartoon from Cas Van de Pol. As with all of their recap cartoons, it is both surprisingly accurate while retaining their distinctive style. This riff on Pete Docter's classic will definitley remind you of the original but may have you thinking... I don't remember that much screaming in Inside Out.

Summertime Reminiscences — Honkai Impact 3rd Concept Animation

Tied to the popular video game Honkai Impact 3rd, this "concept animation" showcases characters from the game enjoying some time at the beach. Featuring lovely anime-styled visuals and upbeat music, the video is a summery good time.

BBC  OLYMPICS 2024 TRAILER

This year's animated trailer for the 2024 Paris Olympics games is a work of art. Taking the concept of "the city of love" and comparing the passion of love with the passion of the athletes competing. The ad boasts some goregous 2D visuals and a wonderful sense of atmosphere... while also capturing the excitement of the games. Animated by FX Goby at Nexus Studios.

One Last Monster

Korean-American artist Gene Kim, worked on this labour-of-love, animated by him and just one other animator over the course of two years. It's an impressive piece of work with some impressive action.
The short has won awards including Best Animated Short at the Flickers Festival in Rhode Island, USA.
