Aqua Teen Hunger Force Returns This November
Aqua Teen Hunger Force has to be one of the most unlikely hit series. One of Adult Swim's earliest original shows, it went on to become one of their longest running series, running for 11 seasons in its original run. Now the show is set to make an equally unlikely comeback.
The series comes from creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro. The 12th Season will see the return of Frylock, Meatwad and Master Shake. The series features the voices of Carey Means as Fylock, Dana Snyder as Master Shake and co-creator Willis as Meatwad and Carl. The new season also features guest appearances from Eric Bauza, Brian Cox, Dan Fogler, Maurice LaMarche, and Gary Anthony Williams.
The new episodes follow last year's original film Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm. Unusually, the new season will run for just five 11-minute episodes.
Adult Swim describe the new season: "The new season picks up where we left off in 2015, as Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad have returned to solve all of life’s modern issues, and Carl returns because he can’t sell his crappy house because he lives next door to food."
"Look for your favorite trio of “detectives" to go head-to-head with A.I. appliances, join an apocalyptic fitness cult, and search for friendship through ancient Egyptian pyramid schemes. In the end, all problems shall be solved, and all brains shall be melted."
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: season 12 will air from Sunday, November 26 at 11:30pm ET/PT. Episodes will also be available streaming the next day on Max.
