Pixar's 'Elio' Teaser Trailer Makes First Contact

We're just days away from the release of Elemental, the latest film from Pixar. But the studio is already looking ahead with the release of the first teaser trailer for Elio, their film due for release on March 1, 2024.

Elio is the story of an imaginative underdog of the same name who finds himself transported to outer space- specifically The Communiverse, which appears to be a sort of galactic United Nations. He soon finds himself mistaken for Earth's ambassador and has to keep up the pretence while encountering a whole galaxy of eccentric alien life forms and a series of formidable trials.

"For centuries, people have called out to the universe looking for answers," the film's official description says. "In Disney and Pixar’s all-new movie Elio, the universe calls back! "

Elio stars the voices of America Ferrara stars as Elio's mother Olga, and Yonas Kibreab plays Elio. The cast also features Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa and Brad Garrett as Ambassador Grigon.

The film is written and directed by Adrian Molina (co-director of Coco) and produced by Mary Alice Drumm.
