Animation Nights New York presents the 2022 ANNY Cannes Short Film Corner Collection
(Program #72 | Season 7 | In Competition Films)
Join us to watch a curated program of animated short films from all around the world. Films are available 11am-11pm Eastern Time for ONE DAY ONLY. Join us for mixer events in the ANNY Virtual Event Space on webXR. (No headset is required. Platform is accessible via PC/Mac/Mobile.)
Offered as an additional opportunity for our filmmakers, we invited project teams from around the world to participate in the 75th Cannes Film Festival, Cannes Court Métrage Short Film Corner. These 17 films were a part of the Animation Nights New York 2022 Cannes Short Film Corner Collection. The program was available for viewing on the ANNY Collection in the Short Film Corner Library for those with festival accreditation, from May 23-27, and is now presented as our 2022 June 26th Screening Event of In Competition Films.
ANNY Cannes participants received festival accreditation with online support from the ANNY team. ANNY organized mixer events and networking opportunities with industry professionals via ANNY Exchange. In addition, ANNY participated in events with the Cannes Court Métrage Short Film Corner hybrid events.
The directors / producers participating in the ANNY Cannes Program represented over 15 countries across 3 continents.

Animation Nights New York is a curated monthly screening event and annual festival started in NYC. We show animated short films and virtual reality animation experiences from all around the world. Screening events are free. Project Submission is free.

The ANNY Cannes Program is an additional opportunity for our in-competition filmmakers. We bring together filmmakers from around the world to join us at the Cannes Film Festival. Participants in the ANNY Cannes Program benefit from our unique partnership with the festival, which allow us to hand select 20 animated short films for exhibition as part of the ANNY Cannes Program. Films are available for viewing on the ANNY channel in the Short Film Corner, and during a special screening in the Marché du Film. We host industry events in Cannes as part of ANNY Exchange.
The ANNY Best of Fest is a conference and festival featuring Animation Screenings, Fine Art Installation, an XR Showcase, Professional Panels, and Industry Events.
