Animation Nights New York is returning to Cannes, Virtually! We are thrilled to announce our Animation Nights New York 2022 Cannes Program (Screening #72)
2022 ANNY Cannes Program
Offered as an additional opportunity for our filmmakers, we’ve invited project teams from around the world to participate in the 75th Cannes Film Festival, Cannes Court Métrage Short Film Corner. These 17 films are part of the Animation Nights New York 2022 Cannes Short Film Corner Collection. The program will be available for viewing on the ANNY Collection in the Short Film Corner Library for those with festival accreditation, from May 23-27, and presented as our 2022 June 26th Screening Event of In Competition Films.

ANNY Cannes participants will receive festival accreditation with online support from the ANNY team. ANNY is organizing mixer events and networking opportunities with industry professionals via ANNY Exchange. In addition, ANNY will participate in events with the Cannes Court Métrage Short Film Corner hybrid events.
The directors / producers participating in the ANNY Cannes Program represent over 15 countries across 3 continents.

ANNY VIRTUAL EVENTS bring our monthly screenings of In Competition animated short films, online! We host screening events and industry mixers on our Video on Demand platform and our web based VIrtual Reality platform in webXR (No headset is required. Platform is available on PC/Mac/Mobile.) CANNES SHORT FILM CORNER : MAY 23-27
Dedicated exclusively to short films and filmmakers. The focus of this division is to create a meeting place for filmmakers from all over the world. ANNY films will be available on a dedicated channel from May 23-27. The Short Film Corner hosts workshops and roundtable discussions for you to learn more about the film industry and current trends. At 5 pm daily, a cocktail hour is held in the Short Film Corner where you can network with other filmmakers.
MARCHE DU FILM : MAY 17-25
The film market is the commercial side of the festival, facilitating exchanges between sellers and buyers. Thousands of films are screened in the marketplace for buyers to view. ANNY has arranged a screening of our selected 18 films as a part of this market. It is an incredible opportunity for networking with companies and industry professionals.
