Netflix Geeked Week: Masters Of The Universe, Cowboy Bebop, Eden Zero and More
Netflix's Geeked Week has been taking place this week, offering viewers previews of the streamer's upcoming genre films and series. And with animation an area that Netflix has really been stepping up their game, there's been a
lot of animated content to get a sneaky peek at. The event ran across social media and streamed on YouTube, Twitch, Tiktok and Facebook. Thursday's program was dedicated to animated content, although some animated content was also revealed on other days.
Masters Of The Universe: Revelation is a sequel to the original 1980s He-Man cartoon from showrunner Kevin Smith. It doesn't get much more 80s than He-Man, so it's only appropriate that this teaser has a brilliant retro feel and a perfect music choice. The animation from the gang at Texas-based Powerhouse Animation (Castlevania, Seis Manos) have done a grand job on producing slick 2D animation that remains faithful to the original series. Netflix's live-action series adaptation of classic anime Cowboy Bebop is being approached with caution by many fans. However, it has just revealed a rather big point in its favour. Music is a major part of what made Bebop what it is, and it has been confirmed that musical genius Yoko Kanno is writing brand new material for the live-action show. Netflix is going Gundam ga-ga. As well as the recently announced live-action adaptation of the iconic anime franchise, the newest animated entry in the franchise Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway will be streaming exclusively on Netflix. The original Gundam movie and the Char's Counter Attack sequel will also be joining the library.

If you still haven't had enough giant robots, the final instalment of the Transformers: War For Cybertron trilogy has been revealed. The final series will be titled Kingdom and will stream from July 29.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, the first animated series based on
the hit survival horror video game franchise released a preview clip.
A new animated feature set in the world of Netflix original fantasy Bright has been announced, While the live-action film was set in an alternate version of contemporary times where humans live side by side with fantasy creatures, Bright: Samurai Soul is set in Meiji era Japan. It will follow a human ronin and an Orc as they try to deliver an elf girl to the land of the elves in the north. The film will be directed by Kyohei Ishiguro.

Make My Day is a newly announced anime movie coming exclusively to
Netflix. Set on a barren ice planet, mysterious creatures have started appearing from underground and attacking the surface dwellers. The film is adapted from an original story by mangaka Yasuo Ohtagaki and directed by Makota Honda, and will feature mecha designs from Shoji Kawamori and Kiyotaka Oshiyam. Meanwhile
