Ireland's Cartoon Saloon are four-for-four in Oscar nominations: with the nominating of Wolfwalkers, all four of their features have made the shortest for Best Animated Feature. And with Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart's film widely seen as the studios best to date, this could be the year they go from nominees to winners.
Due to the events of the last twelve months, a lot of the film's potential audience missed the chance to catch the film in cinemas. You might have a chance to correct that at last as GKIDS Films have announced that it will be making a triumphant return to the big screen in the United States from Friday, April 9.
Following the relaxation of government restrictions, the movie will make its debut in Californian cinemas, including LA's The Landmark and The Landmark Embarcadero in San Fransico. The current list of screenings is below.
