Out This Week: 'Onward' 'Promare' 'Scoob!' and More
After having been relatively unaffected up until now, this week's round-up of home entertainment releases is starting to show the impact of the shutdown. Several releases planned for this week have been pushed back, as Manga Entertainment and their owner Funimation have been forced to change their schedules. It's also shown in the digital release of Warner Animation's Scoob!, which arrived in the US on May 15, its original theatrical release date.
There are still some big titles released in the US this week, with Trigger's first feature film Promare arriving on Blu-Ray and DVD, along with Pixar's latest Onward and Sonic The Hedgehog.

Digital Highlights
Warner Brothers become the latest studio to risk the ire of cinema owners by skipping the big screen altogether and releasing Scoob! direct to digital in the United States. The first big-screen animated reboot for Scooby-Doo is hoping to be the first of many classic Hanna Barbera toons to get a re-do (or re-doo?)- but doubtless, that will depend on how well this initial outing fares. In a key difference from Universal's premium rental strategy, Scoob! is also available to own straight away.
