Brooklyn Film Festival's Animation Selection Will Stream Online
The Brooklyn Film Festival- New York's longest-running competitive international film festival- is the latest event to take its 2020 edition online. BFF will offer all 140+ films streaming for free and will be accessible around the world- you'll just need to create a free account at the website. The films will be available from May 29- June 7.
As always, the festival line-up will include a selection of animated short films from around the world. There are shorts from countries including the US, UK, Japan, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Poland, India, Iran, New Zealand, Spain and Canada. All of the films except one will be either a world, US, NYC or East Coast Premiere- with the majority getting their first screening anywhere.
The films will compete in the category for Best Film, Spirit Award and Audience Award, as well as being eligible for awards across all categories including Best Director and Best New Director.
