Fantasy saga The Witcher started life as a book series from Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, before becoming a hit video game series and most recently a live-action TV series on Netflix.  Now it's set to get the animation treatment in a new animation movie being produced for Netflix by Studio Mir.  The Korean studio are best known for Voltron Legendary Defender,  as well as Avatar and Legend Of Korra.

The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf is coming from Lauren Hissrich and Beau DeMayo, producers of the live-action series. It's not known how the movie will tie in to the story of the show, but it will feature "a new threat facing the Continent." Netflix are labelling the movie "anime", in their ongoing (and annoyingly successful) mission to change the meaning of the term from "Japanese animation" to whatever they want it to be. No release window has been revealed as yet.

Apple TV+ has revealed a first look image of Central Park, the new animated musical comedy from Bob's Burgers creator Loren Bouchard, Josh Gad and Nora Smith. The series will premiere at the SXSW before releasing Apple TV+ in early summer 2020. It stars the voice of Gad alongside his Frozen co-star Kristen Bell,  Leslie Odom Jr, Kathryn Hahn,  Tituss Burgess, Daveed Diggs and Stabley Tucci.

Central Park is an animated musical comedy about the Tillermans, a family that lives in, and are the caretakers of, Central Park. Owen, the park manager, and Paige, his journalist wife, raise their kids Molly and Cole in the world’s most famous park, while fending off a hotel heiress Bitsy Brandenham and her long suffering assistant Helen, who would love nothing more than to turn the park into condos.

HBO Max has ordered a new adult animated comedy The Prince satirising the British royal family, through the eyes of young Prince George. The series is created and written by Gary Janetti former Family Guy writer, based on his own Instagram account.

Lucasfilm have released a new trailer for  Star Wars: The Clone Wars the final season, the long awaited conclusion of the Clone Wars animated series. The new season will start streaming exclusively on Disney Plus on February 21.
