GKIDS Reveal 'Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles' Screening Details

GKIDS Films have announced the release date for Salvador Simo's Buñuel in the Labyrinth of the Turtles. The winner of the jury distinction award at Annecy, and Jury Special Prize at Animation is Film, it will open on August in Los Angeles and New York from August 16. 

Simo's feature debut is an animated drama based on the real-life making of surrealist filmmaker Luis Buñuel's second feature and proves that often truth is stranger than fiction. The opening will be preceded by a three screenings in LA that will be accompanied by a director's Q&A.
