'Shaun The Sheep: Farmageddon' Second Trailer And Posters Arrive
Aardman Animation's woolly wonder is set to return later this year in his second big-screen adventure: Shaun The Sheep Movie: Farmageddon. This time around, Shaun and his flock will have a close encounter with a friendly (and downright adorable) alien by the name of Lu-La, who arrives on their farm.
With government agents trying to track Lu-La down, Shaun and company must go on the lam(b) to try and get her back to her ship, so she can return home.
The second full trailer for the film covers much of the same ground as the first, but reveals more of the film's plot. We see more of the film's villains- a bumbling Men In Black style government agency lead by a very no-nonsense looking woman in a suit. But more importantly, there's an absolute ton of Aardman's trademark visual humour, slapstick and invention. It also reassures that although the scope may be bigger than in the first movie, none of the charm, wit or warmth appears to have been lost.
Aardman and Studio Canal have also released a new set of posters. Following on from the movie parody posters released to promote the first Shaun The Sheep movie, these smartly riff on the Netflix series Stranger Things.
Shaun The Sheep: Farmageddon arrives in cinemas in the UK on October 18 with the US release following on December 13.
