GKIDS Films and Fathom Events' Ghibli Fest 2018 finally comes to an end this month, when Hayao Miyazaki's Castle In The Sky returns to US theaters. The film will be screening for three nights only on November 18,19 and 20. Once again AFA is teaming up with GKIDS to offer one of our lucky readers two free tickets to see the film at a screening of their choice.
The film follows an engineer's apprentice named Pazu as he meets a runaway girl named Sheeta. Pursued by government agents and greedy air-pirates alike, she turns out to hold the secret of discovering the legendary floating castle, Laputa.
The contest runs from midnight November 2 to 11:59 PM November 9 (all times Eastern). The winners will be selected and notified by GKIDS Films after the closing date. US entries only. This high-flying adventure begins when Pazu, an engineer’s apprentice, spies a young girl, Sheeta, floating down from the sky, held aloft by a glowing pendant. But their quest won’t be easy, as soon they are being pursued by greedy air pirates, the military, and secret government agents, who all seek the power Sheeta alone can control.
