The AFA Podcast 107: Fireworks and Fantasia
The AFA Podcast is back once again, to bring you the latest animation talk! First, Chris, Rachael and Dan discuss the latest news stories. This includes the latest anime announcements from Otakon, the details on the Maquia English dub and the Fantoche Festival.
Then, (0:24) Chris and Rachael discuss a selection of film that screened at this year's Fantasia Film Festival that we were able to watch, which are Fireworks, Aragne, Violence Voyager and Crisis Jung. (Please note: we had not had the opportunity to watch Penguin Highway at the time of recording- we'll discuss it on a future episode!)
Finally, we stop off at The Watercooler (1:19). Titles discussed this week include The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales, Early Man, Free, and two very different takes on Disenchantment.
