TIFF Hosts 'The Big Bad Fox & Other Tales' North American Debut
Just days ago we found out that GKIDS Films will bring the delightful looking French Feature The Big Bad Fox & Other Tales to North America this winter. Now we've also learned that film's North American premiere will be taking place as part of this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
Benjamin Renner and Patrick Imbert's film is based on Renner's Big Bad Fox Graphic novel and features three stories following the antics of the animals who live on or near an everyday farm. The screening will take place during the festival that will run between September 7 and September 17 and will feature in the TIFF Kids strand.
This follows on from the news that Cartoon Saloon's new feature The Breadwinner (from director Nora Twomey) will be receiving its World Premiere at the prestigious festival. The Short Cuts strand will also feature a selection of animated shorts from around the world.
The Full TIFF Schedule will be available on August 22. Vist the festival website for full details. GKIDS Films will release The Big Bad Fox & Other Tales and The Breadwinner theatrically later this year.
