Manga Bringing 'Pokemon' , 'Transformers' Movies To The UK

Whether you were a child of the 80's, 90's or somewhere inbetween, Manga Entertainment is preparing to bring a healthy dose of nostalgia with their latest announcement.

The company is bringing the 30th Anniversary Steelbook edition of Transformers The Movie to the UK this December. Coming complete with a brand new Blu-ray 4K transfer and a selection of special features, this seems to be essentially identical to the impressive looking Shout Factory edition being released in the US next month.

The special features are headlined by 'Til All Are One, a brand-new documentary, taking a retrospective look at the film alongside key members of cast and crew. Other features include an audio commentary and a digital copy of the film. Pre-order your copy here.

90's kids meanwhile are being served by the arrival of the Pokemon movies on Blu-ray in the UK for the first time. Just as Poke-fever is gripping the world once again, Manga are starting with the 2015 feature Pokémon: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages on October 24th, before going right back to the beginning with first three movies in a box-set. The trilogy will be released both on limited edition Steelbook Blu-ray and standard DVD.

The set will comprise Pokemon The First Movie, Pokemon The Movie 2000 and Pokemon 3: The Movie.

Clash of Ages is the 18th Pokemon movie and sees Ash and Pikachu encounter the mythical Pokemon Hoopa.

With their catalogue including  the Dragon Ball saga, Yu-Gi-Oh and their recent acquisition of the new Digmon Tri Movies, Manga are quickly becoming the home of anime nostalgia for fans in the UK.
