Web Animation Watch: Vampire Pixel, Monster Island and more
If you've made something that you think would be a good fit for a future installment, drop us a line and let us know.
Anthony 'Kreid' Price has done sterling work, both as part of the Weebl's Stuff crew and outside it. Vampire Pixel is a new project written by Kreid alongside Chris Harrison- and it's one deeply cool piece of work. Incredibly stylish, slickly animated and action-packed, this opening episode- introducing us to the location of Neon City- has us excited to see more!
From Stoopid Buddy Studios, the animation studio behind Robot Chicken comes this hilarious (and NSFW) short Monster Island. Directed, devised written by and starring the team of Harry Chaskin, Dan Lippert and Justin Michael, this reimagines a pair of Godzilla and King Kong lookalikes as unlikely friends.

The game itself has finally arrived, but make sure to catch up with the latest (and final) animated short made to accompany Blizzard's Overwatch. Every one of these has hit it out of the park and Hero is no exception. Look out for one particularly dazzling sequence that uses imagery from Mexico's Day Of The Dead. Never mind the game.. we want a movie!
If Simon' Cat always guarantees you'll get something cute and funny, it's doubly the case anytime the kitten shows up in an episode. Muddy Paws, the latest episode to feature our favourite kittie and his kitten companion is right up there with the best. The relationship between the older and younger feline is just adorable here.
To finish up today how about some more stop-motion? This time from the masters of the art, Aardman, who have been releasing remastered classic episodes starring their first breakout star Morph. Here's the latest to be released from the archive.
