New 'Kubo and The Two Strings' Trailer and Posters Unleashed
The modern promotional cycle for movies can result in a glut of trailers for each film. As a result, we generally don't cover every single trailer for a given animated movie. In the case of Kubo And The Two Strings though, we just can't help ourselves. With each trailer, we've been sure that we could not possibly be any more excited than we already were for LAIKA's next opus. And each time we were wrong.
So it is that this third full-length trailer for the Focus Features distributed stop-motion film has arrived- and has us even more desperate to see it than ever. The last trailer that was released hinted that the film will have a lighter more comic side to go alongside the darker, more action-packed material that the earlier trailers relied on. This third trailer however, has more of an epic, legendary feel once again.
Kubo and The Two Strings will be LAIKA's fourth feature, and the first to be directed by founder and CEO Travis Knight. The voice cast features Art Parkinson (from Game Of Thrones), Charlize Theron and Matthew McConaughey. It will arrive in US cinemas August 19th, and in the UK on the 9th of September via Universal. Watch the new trailer below:
Focus Features have also released four gorgeous new posters, which you can also see here.
