'Attack On Titan' Videogame Comes West This Summer
While Attack On Titan fans impatiently await news of the anime' second season (allegedly due sometime this year) something is coming along to keep them going. Koei Tecmo released a videogame based on the hit franchise in Japan this past February, and now it's preparing to smash it's way westward. The game will simply be known as 'Attack On Titan' in North America but will sport the title Attack On Titan: Wings Of Freedom for its European release.
The game will put players in the shoes of members of the Survey Corps during the Battle Of Trost. Playable characters include Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi and more. You can check out the trailer to see that it boasts a pretty impressive recreation of the world of the anime, with the locations and characters looking truly authentic.
Most importantly of all, players will get the chance to take on the towering Titans themselves, which look every bit as freaky and oddly terrifying as their animated versions. The game was developed by Omega Force- best known for the Dynasty Warriors franchise and spin-offs.
The game will arrive in Europe on August 26th and the Americas on August 30th, 2016. It will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Vita, Steam and Xbox One. Disc versions will be available on PS4 and XBO, all other versions are digital only. Check out the trailer below.
