Web Animation Watch: Eddsworld: The End, Overwatch: Recall and more
The internet has done great things for animation. It's made it easier for animators to get their work out there than ever before. But with so much stuff out there, how are you supposed to know what's worth watching? Web Animation Watch is here to help once again! You're welcome.
If you've made something that you think would be a good fit for a future installment, drop us a line and let us know.
When the web animator Edd Gould passed away, his friends and family started the Eddsworld Legacy project in order to keep his much-loved series Eddsworld going in his memory. This two-part finale is the ultimate culmination of that project, that acts as the swansong for Edd's friend and original collaborator on the series Thomas Ridgewell (TomSka), packed with references for fans. This features some gorgeous animation, and features contributions from some of the biggest stars of the web animation community including Mr Weebl, Rage Nineteen, Kreid and Wonchop. This is a very entertaining watch, but also has an added emotional component when you know the story behind it all. Gould's family apparently intends for the series to continue in some form.

Although actually made to promote a forthcoming videogame Overwatch from Blizzard, this short works rather well in its own right. Featuring a super-smart Gorilla scientist and a bad-ass looking villain, this will certainly leaving you wanting to know more about the universe the game is set to take place in.
The Drunk Nostaligia lads are back with another sozzled take on childhood memories for Mashed. This time they take on the original heroes in a halfshell, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
It's been a while since our last installment (sorry!) so we missed the release of the latest Simon's Cat episode- a valentines special. Although v-day itself may now be a distant memory, time cannot diminish our love for this series. In this latest short, the titular tomcat has an amorous encounter.
