A Magical New Trailer for "The Little Prince"
The new trailer for The Little Prince from Paramount Pictures has appeared and it is simply dazzling. Based on the 1943 novel by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and directed by Mark Osborne of Kung Fu Panda (2008) fame, the film interweaves the stories of an overachieving young girl who befriends her quirky aviator neighbor and a boy from another world who crossed paths with the aviator years ago. Visual delights abound in the trailer and it's clear that the film makes great use of CG animation for the present day and stop-motion for the past in order to convey the stories of the characters. Premiering at the 68th Cannes Film Festival next month and in France on July 29, 2015, The Little Prince is sure to be enthusiastically received by viewers of all ages. The rest of the world will have to wait until later this year unfortunately, however with an English-speaking cast consisting of Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, and Jeff Bridges to name a few not to mention a score composed by the great Hans Zimmer our patience will surely be well rewarded by this film. Check out the brilliant trailer below and prepare to be mesmerized by the magic of The Little Prince.
