Viewster Adds 'Naruto Shippuden' Simulcast.
There's never been a better time to be an anime fan, with about 90% of the shows produced in Japan now available legally online, subtitled within hours of their broadcast. Or at least that's the case if you happen to live in the US, as quite frequently American services only obtain the rights to stream to American audiences. It's quite a sore point for fans in the UK and elsewhere that fans in the States get access to so much more content than they do.
Viewster is a free streaming platform based in Europe that has recently started moving into the world of anime streaming in a big way, nabbing the rights to simulcast a number of anime series to the UK and various other countries. Their latest acquisition is a pretty big deal- the phenomenally successful series Naruto Shippuden. The follow-up series to the original Naruto follows the further adventures of the titular Orange Jump-suit wearing ninja. The only possible snag is that they've only got the rights for episodes from 394 onwards so they're clearly not really going after new fans. New episodes will be added every Thursday, one week after their original broadcast.
The series is available in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and a number of other countries. Check out the page to see full details and watch here. Viewster are not currently streaming the series to fans in the US but it's already available Stateside on several services including Crunchyroll and Hulu.
You can also check out the full selection of anime available on Viewster here.
