Song Of The Sea Screening In London Film Festival October 18th & 19th.
Song Of The Sea- Tomm Moore's follow-up to The Secret Of Kells- has been on our radar for some time now. Early buzz coming out of its first screening at Toronto International Film Festival has been nothing short of fantastic, so we're only getting more and more excited. Mere weeks after its premiere it's heading back across the pond for its debut UK showing as part of the BFI London Film Festival 2014.
Screening as the festival's Family Gala, it will be showing at the Odeon West End on October 18th and the Vue West End on the 19th. Tickets can be bought through the British Film Institute's website, so hurry to be sure you don't miss out. The film is being distributed in the UK and Ireland by Studio Canal, but a release date has yet to be confirmed- so this is your first chance to see it most likely a good few months before it's full release. In the UK but can't make it to London? There will be another chance for UK audiences to catch it at the Leeds Film Festival on November 15th.
Song Of The Sea tells the story of two children named Ben and Saoirse, who get caught up in an adventure based on traditional Irish Folklore, and is produced by Ireland-based studio Cartoon Saloon. Check out the stunning trailer below.
