The Streamys Nominate Bravest Warriors, Simon's Cat and more

There are plenty of awards shows out there, handing out gongs for all sections of the entertainment industry. The Streamys are unique though- they exist to award the best in original online video- and of course that includes animation. The fourth annual Streamys are due to take place September 7th, 2014, and the nominations have now been announced.

Competing in the animation category is AFA favourite Simon's Cat. Fresh off the success of their crowd-funding campaign, are they about to add another success to their long list? Fantastic Youtube channel Cartoon Hangover is also represented, with a nod for Bravest Warriors. Created for the web by Adventure Time creator Pendelton Ward, Bravest Warriors is another worthy nominee and we'd be thrilled to see either of these two take home the award on the night. Also scoring a nom is Rooster Teeth's highly popular RBWY. Often incorrectly labeled an American-made anime (there's no such thing) the fairy-tale inspired action show has nonetheless proved quite the hit online. The full list of nominees follows.
